Bio

Coach L.A. Owens joined Bartlett High School in 2020 after a successful run at Bolton High School, where he established himself as one of the premier defensive backs coaches in the area. Originally hired to serve as the freshman head coach, his first season was canceled due to COVID. The following year, he was promoted to varsity defensive backs coach, where he went on to coach and develop three Division I athletes.

One thing that has always defined Coach L.A. is the genuine care he has for his players—both on and off the field. The Panthers can confidently say they appreciate everything Coach L.A. Owens has brought, and continues to bring, to the program.
